It had a stunning and excellent setting very close to all attractions for Hadrians Wall, the A69 & railway and Northumberland. We loved the host. A microwave, an electric kettle, and refrigerators were available for cooking.

The room was great with shower, pleasant to stay in. Got shower facilities, a hairdryer, and bath sheets in the bathroom.

We stayed in a lovely cottage with a great view of the garden and enjoyed the nice-sized bathroom, as well as the fact that it was equipped with smoke detectors.

Its location was marvellous, 3 km from Walltown Country Park. More than that, a lake and a hillside were situated not far from the apartment.

Graham was the best host ever. Had such things like an electric kettle, a fridge, and a microwave oven, rooms were amazing. It was located in an interesting area right by the Lake district, and all attractions,.

Situated near the stunning Northumbria and Cumbria border, guests have the opportunity to explore both areas from this beautiful setting. the rooms are described as clean, comfortable, and full of character, offering a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. the breakfast provided is delicious and plentiful, ensuring guests are well-prepared for a day of activities. the view from the window is like a postcard, adding to the overall charm of the accommodation. some guests did not find the shower to be as satisfactory as the rest of the facilities.

The host was always around and ready to help. The rooms in the apartment were amazing and had a separate bathroom and a nice shower. We loved the views of the garden and the stunning scenery 😊.

My partner and I had the most perfect stay at The Bothy At Ivy Cottage. Fearga and Graham were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The continental breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fresh choices to start our day. The location was ideal for exploring Hadrian's Wall and the Northumbria & Cumbria border. We loved the peacefulness of the countryside setting and the cozy atmosphere of the cottage. The comfortable bed and great shower added to the overall experience. We only wish we had booked for a longer stay!

The value for money at the Bothy was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was beautiful with lovely views and it felt like a peaceful rural retreat. The staff, Fearga and Graham, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like part of the family.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be more variety in the breakfast items.

This place is amazing, perfect for a peaceful day of relaxation, and the host, Graham, creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home - plus, the view from the garden is absolutely beautiful!
